Is the name of our newly constructed house in the Perigord region of France. Our holiday cottage / gite is on the outskirts of the village of Tremolat, with beautiful views over the river Dordogne. It is a quiet and peaceful area but not isolated, with the village of Tremolat only a short stroll away, and larger towns, such as Bergerac, within 20 to 30 minutes drive.
The village of Tremolat has all of the facilities that you need to make your holiday enjoyable. There is a bakers, a general store, two restaurants, two bars, a post office, a garage, a church, bike hire,crazy golf etc. There is a large camp site with 2 swimming pools, football, water sports, a cafe etc. which is open to the public.
The house is situated about half way up the famous Route du Cingle, and is the ideal spot for a relaxing holiday, or as a base for touring the area. |
